What a weekend! I have never been so busy in my life. We got started on our new kitchen. We got the majority of it done. The cupboards/cabinets and drawers are up. The counter is in, but no sink yet. We still need a few things for that. It is so hard to live normally when you don't have a working kitchen. I am sick of eating out. But the kitchen looks great. No pics yet because there is still a little more to do and it doesn't look as good as I want for pictures so be patient, they are coming. I am so excited to show it off and actually start having water and my dishes back. There is lots of cleanup too. There is sawdust EVERYWHERE! That's going to take a while to clean all up too. But all in all I am very grateful to have this new kitchen and a BIG thank you to my brother in law Shawn who designed it and made it possible to have it all done without spending a million dollars. Sorry we took up your whole weekend Shawn. Your the best! BTW, whoever wants woodworking done on anything Shawn is the guy to call so contact me if you want to talk to the most talented woodworker in the world! :) And some unfortunate news to share as well. Our dog Adalea is pregnant. We were hoping it would not happen, sadly it did, so we are having to plan for the onslaught of a bunch of puppies again. If you know of anyone who wants one have them contact us. And also, we are working at Hee Haw Farms this month so come visit us there and have fun in the maze. It's going to be a very stressful month but well worth it. Ok, I will go now.
